A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY DESIGN PROCESS

Made In The West Film Festival celebrates filmmakers from Western Sydney. For this project, students were tasked with designing the festival’s iconic poster, along with variations for a pull-up banner, lightbox, Instagram tile, certificate, and web banner.

Made In The West requested a psychedelic style with fun, exciting, and “kooky” elements. My design was selected to represent the 2024 festival.

The design process involved a lot of trial and error, particularly with layout and illustrative placement. My final design tells the story of a filmmaker’s vision, symbolized by eyeball motifs and film-related elements like cameras and film tape.
